It's a Small World After All?

Looking at Europe on a map makes it look small and easy to travel. This perspective changes that just a wee bit!

Compared to the States, distances in Europe for American standards are nothing. For example, a person can travel from the very northern part of Italy, to the southernmost tip in 9 hours by car, or about 45 minutes to one hour by plane.
